Congress leader meet Kiran

Several Congress leaders on Sunday met Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy in the camp office and discussed the outcome of the recent by-elections.

The PCC chief Botcha Satyanarayana, Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal, former minister Shabbir Ali, Rajya Sabha member Palvai Govardhan Reddy, Government whip Kondru Murali separately met the Chief Minister and held discussions.

According to the sources, they shared views on the party debacle and analyzed the results of by-lections of 18 Assembly constituencies and one Lok Sabha constituency. The leaders felt that they have failed to take the government’s welfare schemes and development activities to the common people and decided to fill this gap in the future.

Shabbir Ali said that victory and defeats were common in the election. The opinions was elicited that there was no need to worry about the results of the by-elections. (NSS)
