Congress Kamalpuram MLA to join TDP

There seems to be no end to the exodus from the Congress to Telugu Desam Party in Seemandhra region.

On Thursdsay, Congress MLA from Kamalapuram of Kadapa district Veerashiva Reddy announced his decision to join the TDP. He alleged that the Congress has cheated the people of Andhra Pradesh who voted it power twice. Further, he held YSR Congress Party president Jagan Mohan Reddy equally responsible for the division of the State and chaos among the Telugu-speaking people.

Veerashiva Reddy said that since only TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu could bring development in the Seemandhra region, he was joining the party. He said he would work hard to ensure the victory of TDP in ensuing general elections. (INN)
