Congress high command summons CM

The Congress high command has summoned the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy to the capital amidst reports that the Telangana tangle was in a final stage of decision making. The Chief Minister’s visit at a time when there is hectic activity of both the Seemandhra and the Telangana leaders lobbying to convince the high command on their own viewpoints attained significance. The party high command has asked the Chief Minister be available for the next two days.

According to sources, the Chief Minister will participate in the party Core Committee meeting to be held on January 25. It may recalled that the Union Home Ministry has held discussions with the Chief Secretary Minnie Mathew and the DGP Dinesh Reddy few days ago and caused a debate in political circles that the ‘T’ issue was being settled urgently.
