Soon after withdrawal of support by an ally, Congress High Command started concentrating its attention on AP Politics. It is reported that Ms. Sonia Gandhi elicited information on the latest political situation in AP from Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad and Mr. Ahmed Patel, her political advisor.
Authentic sources indicate that Mr. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy has sent a report on the latest political situation to Ms. Sonia Gandhi in which it has been stated that Majlis withdrew it support according to its previously thought out plan. Its decision is not spontaneous. CM also apprised the High Command of some demands put forth by the ally of Congress which include some sanctions at official level also. He refuted the charges leveled by Majlis giving reasons for withdrawal of support to Congress. He also explained about the construction work relating to Bhagyalakshmi Temple abutting Charminar.
He clarified that administration took action according to court orders and CM has no role. He told that his colleagues are with him. At State level, efforts were made to reconcile but it seems that they had already made up their mind earlier. The plan was already prepared after meeting the YSR Congress Party.
Meanwhile, Congress High Command is engaged in finding out the causes of withdrawal of support by Majlis. In this connection the services of Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad, Mr. Ahmed Patel and Mr. Rahman Khan were utilized so that negotiations could be made with Majlis, but they arrived at a conclusion that there is no scope for any negotiations now. These leaders talked to senior Congress leader, Mr. Mohammed Ali Shabbeer and sought his report on the latest political situation.
It is said that Congress High Command is angry with CM because he didn’t inform it about the discontentment of Majlis earlier. Earlier the issue of Changing the CM was under consideration but it was thought that at this stage Congress might be deprived of the votes of the majority community in the next elections.
