Congress to gherao parliament over inflation today

New Delhi: Main opposition party Congress is set to start his agitation against rising inflation in the midst of the parliament’s Monsoon Session.

Congress has planned to gherao Parliament on July 20 to register its protest over the issue of “persistent” rise in prices of essential commodities, the party had announced earlier.

Top Congress leaders and heads of its units, including Mahila Congress, Sewa Dal, Indian Youth Congress and National Students Union of India, would gather at Jantar Mantar in the morning. The rally will then proceed to the Parliament.

During the current Parliament session, Congress is planning to push Modi government in a corner with controversies surrounding unrest in Kashmir, Arunachal Pradesh government and NSG membership, apart from inflation.
