he Congress party is contemplating to form two separate units for Telangana and Seemandhra regions.
Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan here on Friday, AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh said that the two regional units would work under the Pradesh Congress Committee. He also informed that the Congress party would begin its campaign for the next general elections from by the end of January 2014. He said it would be essential for all Congress leaders including MPs and legislators to participate in the campaign.
Digvijay Singh also said that Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Vice-President Rahul Gandhi would address one of those rallies in the next two months.
AICC Secretary Taruna Vasu and Incharge PCC chief Mohammad Ali Shabbir were also present in the press conference. (INN)
