Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president Dr N Raghuveera Reddy on Friday informed that the candidates for the ensuing Assembly and Lok Sabha elections would be finalised by April 8.
Speaking to media persons at Indira Bhavan here, Raghuveera Reddy said that the Congress Screening Committee would meet on April 7th or 8th to finalise the candidates for 175 Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats. He said that the candidates have already been shortlisted and the list has already been sent to the Congress High Command for final decision. He hoped that the final list would be ready by April 8.
