Balrampur: Soon after indecent, derogatory remarks were made on Congress Chief Rahul and general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on social networking site Facebook the party has filed a complaint with the local police on Wednesday.
The District unit party general secretary Pankaj Gupta said the derogatory remarks have been posted by an account which goes by the name Ram Surat Shukla. The person also claims to be an RSS leader, TOI reports.
The remarks have hurt sentiments of Congress workers following which the party has lodged a complaint with the city Kotwali police.
Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar said the matter was being probed and action will be taken against all those responsible persons.
