Congress double talk on Alliance with TRS!

The Telangana Congress seemed to be desperately trying for alliances with other parties for the ensuing elections, though outwardly it is proclaiming that it would go it alone in the electoral battle.
This could be gauged from the comments of the TPCC president Ponnala Laxmaiah, who while stating that the Congress was strong enough to win on its own in the Telangana region, had also observed that the party’s doors are open for an alliance with the TRS. However, he said the question of forging an alliance should come from the TRS.
What is intriguing is that the TPCC president talked about an alliance with TRS while he was lambasting that party and its chief KCR for claiming that the Telangana State had become a reality only due to the struggle of the pink party.
Though the TRS leaders have been making it clear that they were not keen on forging any alliance with the Congress, it was once again reiterated by K. Keshav Rao and Harish Rao today. Both leaders completely ruled out any alliance with the Congress. (NSS)
