Etawah, December 26: Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan has accused the Congress party of doing injustice to Muslims by not giving them representation in the Parliament in ratio of their population in the country.
“Muslims comprise one-fifth of the population of the country and by not providing them representation in the Parliament in this ratio, Congress has done injustice with the minorities,” Khan said here yesterday on the sidelines of an event.
“We will march to Delhi and demand the Centre that by not giving us representation after taking our votes is cheating with Muslims,” he added.
He alleged that when it had been clearly mentioned in the Sachchar Committee report that economic, social and education level of Muslims was very poor, still not opening a single school in minority dominated area was cheating.
