Congress demands police to file case against CM

Demanding the state government to announce Rs.50 lakh ex-gratia to the family of Murali, who committed suicide on Sunday at Osmania University and order judicial inquiry into the attack on media personnel, Congress leaders have said that the police have to file cases against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao holding responsibility for the suicide of student.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Monday, Congress leaders T Jeevan Reddy and D Sravan have alleged that oppressive attitude of police towards Koluvulakai Kotlata meeting was nothing but Contempt of the Court. They alleged that the Ambedkar written Constitution was not being implemented in the State but implemented ‘Kalvakuntla Constitution’. They demanded the state government to release the unemployed youth, who were coming to Koluvulakai Kotlata meeting and were being arrested by the police, immediately. They alleged that the police oppression was severe in Telangana state. (NSS)
