The Congress and Communist Party of India (CPI) on Wednesday finalised the seat sharing agreement.
As per the understanding, the CPI would contest on one Lok Sabha and nine Assembly segments. Besides Khammam Lok Sabha constituency, the CPI will also contest from Kothagudem, Pinapaka, Wyra, Munuguru, Devarakonda, Bellampalli, Station Ghanpur, Maheshwaram and Bahadurpura Assembly segments.
Sources say that CPI State Secretary K Narayana himself will contest from Khammam Lok Sabha segment. (INN)
