Congress Corporators Invite Rahul To Flag Off Sadbhavana Rally In City

Labour Minister-cum-Greater Hyderabad Congress Committee president Danam Nagendar convened a meeting of all Congress corporators on Monday at Jubilee Hall, Public Gardens from 10 am to 1 pm to interact and discuss various issues. After having elaborate discussions on several issues, the following resolutions have been passed and adopted unanimously by the Congress Corporators of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporator and Members of Greater Hyderabad Congress Committee:

All the Congress corporators and office-bearers of the GHCC have unanimously decided to invite AICC General Secretary and MP Rahul Gandhi to visit Hyderabad and lead “Sadbhavana Yatra” from Charminar to Gandhi Statue as was done by late Rajiv Gandhi to promote secularism, National integrity and brotherhood. They also resolved to recommend to the government to increase Budget allocation to GHMC so as to enable it to increase allocation of funds to the Corporators and also helping the Minorities.

The Corporators unanimously welcomed the decision of All India Congress Committee to involve Rahul Gandhi to play very important role in the party and government. Since the youth of the country, particularly between 18 and 40 years are looking eagerly for his leadership in the days to come.

The Congress Corporators have congratulated Sonia Gandhi, who was recognized as the most influential woman who changed the course of history and powerful motivator and inspiration for the women and youth of this great country.

The Congress Corporators have unanimously congratulated Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy for introducing “State Nidhi” and various welfare schemes which help and support the needy. They also congratulated Kiran Kumar Reddy for constituting Group of Ministers headed by Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Raja Narsimha to study and submit a detailed report on the sub-plan of SC-ST.

The Congress Corporators also congratulated the Chief Minister for extending fee reimbursement to the students belonging to BCs, SCs, STs and Minority communities. (NSS)
