Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Working President Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has strongly condemned the arrest of TDP floor leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao in Warangal.
Speaking to media persons at Assembly Media Point here on Monday, Bhatti accused Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao of implicating opposition leaders in false cases. He said that move was aimed at terrorising the leaders of all opposition parties so as to suppress their voice. He said that the TRS Ministers and legislators have been violating the protocol and ruling party workers were creating trouble when they are opposed.
Bhatti said Errabelli hails from Warangal district and he had every right to question violation of protocol in his own constituency. However, the TRS Government has tried to suppress his rights as an MLA by violating the protocol. He also accused the bureaucrats and police officials of acting like TRS agents.
Former MP Ponnam Prabhakar, ex-minister D. Sridhar Babu and Nalgonda DCC President Bhikshapati Yadav were also present. (INN)
