The Congress lodged a complaint with the Election Commission on Monday alleging that the YSRCP leaders were influencing the voters by sending bulk SMSs.
The Congress leaders have brought to the notice of the Election Commission that the YSRCP leaders were influencing the voters by saying that the party will recharge Rs 500 worth if one forwards SMSs to 10 persons asking them to cast their votes to YSRCP candidates, violating the rules. They also brought to the notice of the EC that the Sakshi media was telecasting falsehood and urged the EC to initiate action against the Sakshi media. (NSS)
