Seemandhra Congress Committee President N. Raghuveera Reddy left for New Delhi to attend the election screening committee meeting to finalize the list of party nominees for the ensuing elections.
Before leaving for the national capital, Raghuveera Reddy said that the names of 30 sitting MLAs and 8 sitting MPs were cleared and the rest would be finalized after the screening committee meeting. He also disclosed that the party would field SCs even in general category seats.
It is reliably learnt that Raghuveera Reddy has carried a list of three names for each constituency from which one candidate would be selected. (NSS)
