Hyderabad: TRS MP Kavitha today criticized Telugu Desam president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for doing “backdoor” politics against Telangana State. “It is very unfortunate that the candidates’ list of the Congress was getting finalized at Amaravathi by Chandrababu Naidu.
Addressing a meeting as part of political campaigning at Nizamabad rural area, Kavitha lashed out at the TD chief for “colluding” with the Congress. The Congress has forged an unholy alliance with Chandrababu Naidu, who was dictating terms. Now the Congress leaders are in a pitiable situation and dancing to the tunes of Chandrababu Naidu for the Assembly polls.
However, the people are with the ruling party, which focused on welfare and development, she asserted. Kavitha ridiculed that the Congress was unable to contest alone and take on the might of the ruling party in the upcoming polls. “What the Congress leadership will do if come to power by chance when they cannot even finalize the candidates for the polls, she thundered.
Kavitha said the Congress was caught in a dilemma in seat sharing and vainly made trips to Delhi, she charged. Now Chandrababu was fuelling the Congress party to fight the polls and will take a call on the candidates list of the Mahakutami, she alleged. Kavitha said the ruling party will work out a plan of development for Jagtial segment. Caretaker Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari and party candidate V Prashanth Reddy and others were present.
