Hyderabad: A post mortem to identify the reasons that led to the unceremonious defeat of the Congress in Telangana has begun today.
AICC general secretary in-charge of Telangana State RC Kuntia today held a meeting with senior party leaders on the issue in the city. The meeting was held at Golconda hotel where senior party leaders like TPCC Chief N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, K. Jana Reddy, C Damodar Rajanarasimha, A. Revanth Reddy and others attended the meeting. The meeting took up a comprehensive discussion on the issue.
Speaking on the occasion, former Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha blamed Chief Electoral Officer Rajat Kumar for the party defeat by directing the officials of the State government to deposit Rythyu Bandu money directly in the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. He also said all-party leaders were also equally responsible for the defeat of the party.
