Congress alone was doing best for farmers: Kodanda

Stating that Congress was the only party that did justice to the farmers, Congress Kisan Cell state convener M Kodanda Reddy has said that the people would not trust YSRCP Chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, who leads luxurious life and speaks about the poor for political gain.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Thursday, Kodanda Reddy said that the Congress was moving forward with particular action plan with regard to farmers. He said the Congress was wholeheartedly trying to lift the agriculture sector from a crisis. He said that the YSRCP’s criticism against the Congress government was like spitting on the Sun. He said that the State government had asked the Markfed to purchase Mirchi at Rs 5,000 per a quintal.

PCC official spokesperson K Mruthyunjayam said that Jagan, who was facing CBI inquiry, knows when the CBI would arrest him. He said that Jagan has cruel thoughts of creating law and order problem in the event of his arrest, but was attributing his thoughts to the Congress party.
Stating that Jagan would not get public sympathy on account of CBI probe, he said that Jagan knows the gravity of his mistakes. He said that the people, who were attending Jagan’s meetings, would not cast their votes to his party. The CBI was trying to bring out facts from the glass houses of Jagan, he said.

Another spokesperson B Kamalakar Rao said that the people were questioning why the CBI, which arrested A-9, was not arresting A-1 Jagan. (NSS)
