Congress alone to meet Sri Krishna Committee

Hyderabad, May 04: (Siasat News) Only a single delegation will meet justice Sri Krishna Committee formed to assess the problem of formation of Telengana State and take into consideration all the details about the regions backwardness. This committee will place before it a “Power Point Presentation” it was decided at an extra ordinary meeting of the party held today at Fateh Maidan Club.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Jana Reddy, G. Sukender Reddy, Kondakar Rao, P. Goverdhan Reddy, Dr. G. Cheena Reddy, Yadav Reddy, P. Narsa Reddy, Indrasen Reddy, Indra Karan Reddy, C. Muthyam Reddy, K.R. Amos, Sultan Ahmed and others. It was decided to include important Congree I leaders from Telegana including State Ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, and leaders of Telengana Regional Committee besides important leaders of Pradesh Congress Committee and Prominent leaders from Telagana. At the end of the Two hour long meeting the Convener of Talagana Regional Congress I Committee Dr. G. Chenna Reddy informed the Press about the proceedings of the meeting. He said the Congress I leader from Telagana were informed that Justice Sri Krishna Committee has decided to fix May 13 to for exchange opinion.

It was also decided that leaders of Congress I from Telangana, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs, and other will form a single delegation to meet the committee, unitedly and not meet separately this delegation will inform the committee in a united way.

A formal committee has been formed to point out in justice done towards Telangana in respect of irrigation, education, budget, employment, services, agriculture, Telagana history and other issues. The report also includes the facts about the progress of Telagana and how fast the other regions have progressed in the same period. A committee consisting of Senior Congress I leaders, members of Parliament & MLAs has been formed to finalize a report on how well off Telangana was before its merger with Andhra and how it deteriorated after the merger.

Dr. Chenna Reddy pointed out that Telengana wards performs before the formation of Andhra Pradehs but it has deteriorated after the formation of Andhra Pradesh referring to Mr. K. Chandra Shekar Rao comments on the president of Pradesh Congress Committee, Dr. G. Chenna Reddy said that D. Srinivas was never opposed to a separate Telangana State and he was never against separation of Telangana. He further said that Mr. D. Srinivas as Congress President was not in a position to support a separate Telangana State. He never adversely remarked against the President of TRS Mr. Chandra Sekhar Rao, but the latter has continued his remarks about him. Dr. Chenna Reddy urged the TRS President Mr. K. Chandra Sekhar Rao to view the real situation and urged all the Telangana leaders to create unity and solidarity as it is found among leaders of other region.
