Demanding that the State government arrest those who attacked Vanaparthy MLA G Chinna Reddy immediately, Congress MLA Sampath Kumar said his party strategy would be to check “political prostitution” by the ruling TRS, which reached to the peak.
On Tuesday, Sampath addressed party leaders on the strategy to be adopted in the MLC elections, at Gandhi Bhavan. He said they would authorize CLP leader K Jana Reddy to chalk out a strategy on MLC elections. He said they discussed it on first priority and second priority votes.
It is learnt that Jana Reddy opposed the MLAs and MLCs’ proposal to lay a siege to Secretariat in protest against the attack on Chinna Reddy and subsequently they decided to meet Governor ESL Narasimhan in this regard. (NSS)
