Former minister Danam Nagender today said the Congress would come back to power irrespective of TRS merges with Congress or not.
Talking to mediapersons here on Thursday, Nagender said the Congress has its own rank and file. “We will win on our own and we do not need any other party’s support”, he maintained. He also recalled that the TRS had announced that it would merge into the Congress if Telangana statehood was conceded. As Telangana was accorded statehood, now it is for the TRS to keep its promise, Nagender opined. He exuded confidence that the Congress will retain power in Telangna state after forthcoming general elections. The party activists should put in collective efforts to win the elections to come, he added. (NSS)
