Cong will go to grave if Lalu inducted in ministry at Centre: JD(U)

National spokesman of JD(U) Shivanand Tiwary today said Congress would go to grave if RJD supremo Lalu Prasad was inducted in the ministry at the Centre. Mr Tiwary told media persons here that the popularity graph of Congress was fast decreasing throughout the country and under the given circumstances it would be last nail on the coffin if the Congress decided to induct Mr Prasad in UPA government at the Centre. ” Mr Prasad is trying his best to persuade Congress leadership to induct him in the union cabinet but it appears that his effort is not yielding any result,” he said adding that the Congress would avoid Mr Prasad and maintain distance with him if good sense prevailed in the party. The JD(U) leader said Mr Prasad had lost credibility among the masses in Bihar and his effort to revive the lost mass base would not bear any result. The Nitish government was performing superbly in Bihar and there was no space left for Mr Prasad, he noted. To a query on a petition being heard in a court in Ranchi to make him accused in fodder scam, Mr Tiwary said that the period mentioned in the petition was about when Samata Party had only seven MLAs in Bihar Assembly and who would pay money to leader of a party having weak presence in assembly.
