Calling upon the party cadre to wage war against the state government by getting inspiration from Quit India Movement, TPCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the Congress party will come into power in 2019.
Participating in the Quit India Movement diamond jubilee celebrations at Gandhi Bhavan here on Tuesday, Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged that the TRS party was trying to suppress the Congress party, which gave separate Telangana state, adopting corrupt and dictator rule. He said that there was a need to strengthen the party in 8000 villages across the Telangana state to see the end of TRS rule in the state. Asking the Prime Minister Narendra Modi whether he got time to visit Telangana state after visiting 50 countries, Uttam alleged that the Prime Minister inaugurated the works completed in Congress regime. He asked the Congress activists to strive to see the defeat of the TRS party in the next elections to give real rule to the people.
Earlier, Uttam hoisted the national flag. TPCC working president Bhatti Vikrmarka was also present. (NSS)
