Cong slams BJP for not acting against K’taka CM

Bangalore, March 12: AICC General Secretary and CWC member B K Hariprasad today slammed BJP high command for its “failure” to act against Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa who faces allegations of corruption.

“There is no high command in BJP. Yeddyurappa has himself become High Command for that party,” he alleged, participating at a meet-the-press programme here.

He said as long the “corrupt and immoral” BJP government remained in office in Karnataka, the state could not witness any development.

Hariprasad said Congress would not have any truce with JDS in the state and termed that party as a “quarrelsome political outfit.”

He exuded optimism of Congress doing well in the Assembly elections being held next month in five states.

The Congress would come to power in Assam and Kerala, he claimed.
