Cong Party will be stronger if T-state achieved: Vayalar told

Telangana Congress leaders today informed Union Minister for overseas Indian Affairs Vayalar Ravi that the Congress Party will strengthen in the Telangana Region only after formation of separate state.
Former Rajya Sabha Member K Keshav Rao along with Congress MPs Gutte Sukender Reddy and Vivek, who met Mr
Ravi at Gandhi Bhavan here this evening, said they asked him to take a decision on the Telangana state as soon as possible in the interest of the party in Telangana region.The Congress leaders also informed the Union Minister about the sentiments of four crore Telangana people who were aspiring for a statehood.
Talking to mediapersons later, Mr Reddy said ‘we will meet on Telangana issue on April 24 in which all the
Congress leaders from Telangana region will take part.’Meanwhile, at another press conference, the controversial Former Minister P Shankar Rao, who met the Union Minister, demanded replacing Chief Minister in the
interest of the party.
The party will face major setback in the by-elections if the present Chief Minister continued at the helm of
affairs, he cautioned.
