Condemning the police action against TRS workers during the Vijamma’s deeksha journey, Congress MPs today accused Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy of being a ‘Cohort’ of YSR Congress party President YS Jaganmohan Reddy. Talking to media persons here, Peddapalli MP G VivekVivek and said that the allegation has been proved with attack on the Telangana leaders and students during the Maha Deeksha of YSRCP honorary president Y S Vijajayamma for the cause of weavers at Sircilla in Karimnagar district. Suspecting the hand of the Chief Minister behind the attack on Telangana activists, he alleged that it was nothing but a joint conspiracy hatched by Kiran Kumar Reddy and Jagan Mohan Reddy. He demanded that the government immediately release all the activists who were arrested during the Deeksha. In another press conference, Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao came down heavily on the YS Vijayamma for observing Deeksha while disturbing the law and order situation in the region. Suspecting the commitment of Vijayamma over the weavers’ issue, VHR slammed the state government for providing 1,000 policemen security for the Deeksha. The Rajya Sabha MP said that that the security provided to Vijayamma during her visit to Sircilla reminds him of emergency days. He also took serious objection over police raiding the Telangana Bhavan at the behest of YSRCP. UNI
