Condemning the opposition parties alleged remarks made against its MLAs and MPs, the Congress Party will move a privilege motion against CPI State Secretary K Narayana and Telugu Desam Party’s Floor Leader in the Legislative Council Dadi Veerabhadra Rao. Addressing a press conference at the Congress Legislature Party office here today, AICC Secretary and MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy alleged the CPI State Secretary has used unparliamentary remarks against the Congress MLAs and MPs and also condemned the ‘silence’ of CPI’s National Secretary Survaram Sudhakar Reddy over his state leader’s remarks. Condemning the remarks, AICC Leader said that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, who claims that the party was a disciplined, did not react to his leader’s ‘harsh’ wards used against Congress legislators and Parliaments members. The party would move a privilege motion against the CPI and TDP leaders for their remarks and also explore other legal options against them, he added. UNI
