Kamalapuram MLA Veerashiva Reddy has demanded the State government to order an inquiry into the corruption that had taken place during the period when Dr DL Ravindra Reddy has worked as Health Minister.
Speaking to the media at CLP office here on Thursday, Veerashiva Reddy has alleged that the former chief minister late Dr YSR had not inducted DL as a minister in his Cabinet as he knew very well about him. He said that DL was behaving like a buffalo which was offered to Gangamma. Dubbing DL as a scorpion, Veerashiva Reddy said that he was appreciating the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for tolerating the mistakes of DL all these days. He said that DL’s followers themselves were admitting that DL entered into an agreement with TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu.
He has alleged that DL never behaved in a good manner to bring good name to the government. He said that DL was like a waste sapling and hence he was removed from the Cabinet. He alleged that DL cooperated with the TDP and YSRCP so that they could win the Cooperative elections. He said that DL was in position till recent only because of the Chief Minister, even though DL had lost by-election. (NSS)
