Cong. MIM walk out of assembly

Hyderabad: Dissatisfied with the answers given by Finance Minister Etela Rajender on the solutions for the note ban crisis, reduction in income and revenue, scholarship and fee reimbursement, ASARA pensions and other welfare schemes, Congress and MIM walked out of assembly during question hour.

During the question hour, MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi raised the issue of releasing of scholarships, fee reimbursement to SCs, STs, BCs and minority students and non-release of sufficient funds for Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak scheme,

Leader of Opposition K Jana Reddy also sought to know from finance minister E Rajender whether the state is facing revenue deficit in view of demonetisation and implementation of welfare schemes.

However Finance Minister supposedly could not give a convincing reply on State revenues, and on the government’s “failure” to release funds for welfare schemes, hence Leader of the Opposition K Jana Reddy and MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi walked out of the Assembly session.
