Kadapa (AP): Congress leader C Ramachandraiah today said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and YSR Congress Chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy are the “the main players” in the bifurcation of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing a public meeting at Proddatur, Ramachandraiah, Congress floor leader in the state Legislative Council, alleged that both of them were certain that would never said become the Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh.
He criticised both ruling and opposition leaders for cheating the people of the state.
Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president, Raghu Veera Reddy alleged that both Naidu and Jagan are “non serious” and neglecting the state.
“The CM failed to materialise the assurances like ‘special category status’, special packages to the backward districts given by UPA government to AP at the time of bifurcation,” he said.
