Cong holds protest against AAP govt

New Delhi: Delhi Congress today staged a protest against the alleged “failures” of the AAP government in the Uttam Nagar area of west Delhi.

“A large number of Congress workers in the Uttam Nagar assembly constituency vent their anger at the AAP government and against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by waving black flags,” said former Congress MLA Mukesh Sharma, who led the protest.

The protest was held at Metro pillar No.715 near the IDBI Bank in the area. Kejriwal had gone there to take part in a Delhi government event.

Sharma alleged that the ruling AAP is “anti poor” and development work has come to a “grinding halt” in the national capital since the party came to power last year.
