Cong helping Vijay Sai Reddy, says TDP

Hyderabad, January 05 (INN): TDP politburo member Yerran Naidu on Wednesday accused the Kiran Kumar Reddy Government of attempting to save Vijay Sai Reddy, the accused in Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s alleged disproportionate assets case.

Talking to media persons at NTR Trust Bhavan, Yerran Naidu said that the state government made futile efforts to save Vijay Sai Reddy by appointing him as a director in the RBI to save him from arrest by the probing agency.

Stating the General Administrative Department (GAD) had sought clearance from the CBI on the proposal, he said that it was clear that the Congress and YSR Congress were in total collusion.

He said that Vijay Sai Reddy had also made efforts to get himself as the Consul General of Georgia. “Unfortunately for Jagan and Vijay Sai Reddy, nothing had worked out as former benefactors of YSR did not come to their succor” he said.

He demanded that the state government initiate stern action against all ministers and officials responsible for Jagan accumulating wealth through illegal methods. (INN)
