Criticising hike in local levy on petrol by UttarakhandGovernment today, BJP said the Congress dispensation is “robbing” the common people to meet its own expenses.
By providing ministerial status to the presidents and vice-presidents of various boards and corporations, the state government has increased its expenditure so much that it is now “robbing” the common people to make up for it, Uttarakhand BJP chief Tirath Singh Rawat said in a statement.
Petrol price in Uttarakhand were today hiked by Rs 5.10 per litre after the state government revised local levy on the fuel. A litre of petrol will cost Rs 67.30 in the state from tomorrow.
