Mahbubnagar, December 09: Bharatiya Janata Party state president G Kishan Reddy on Thursday stated that the No Confidence Motion introduced by the Telugu Desam Party against Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has exposed the weaknesses of the Congress party in the state.
Talking to media persons, Kishan Reddy said that the Congress Government has got reduced to a `minority’ although it defeated the No Trust Motion in the assembly. He said that the government’s survival was now at the mercy of Praja Rajyam Party and Majlis-e-Ittehad Muslimeen.
Responding to a question over the contesting of by-elections in the event of disqualification of Jagan group MLAs for violation of Congress whip during the No Trust Motion, he said the party would take a decision after discussing the matter with senior leaders.
The BJP president also said that the party would support the three tier Panchayat Raj system comprising of Village, Taluk and District in the state.
