TDP senior leader Varla Ramaiah has said that comparing a prisoners procession as ‘Jagannatha Rathayatra’ is nothing but lowering the sentiments of Hindus.
Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Ramaiah stated that it was not correct on the part of Jagan to dishonor Hindus though they have no belief in Hinduism. Alleging that the YSRCP was moving as per the directions of Congress party, he lashed out at the YSRCP leaders asking them as to why they visited Delhi several times.
He also questioned YSRCP whether it was not a fact that the Congress party was giving direction to their party. He alleged that the YSRCP leader YS VIjayamma had straight away went to Janthar Manthar after having a meeting with AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi. (NSS)
