Welcoming the verdict of Supreme Court on Arunachal Pradesh state, Telangana Congress party today said that the judgement is a slap on the face of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well as Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Reacting on the judgement of the apex court, Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy alleged the verdict is a slap on the face of KCR for violating anti-defection law.
He took a jibe that KCR has violated anti-defection law by taking 47 leaders including people’s representatives of different parties into TRS fold.
The Supreme Court has to take up a case of Telangana leaders who changed their loyalty on July 18.
The congress party is considering to move a private bill in parliament to prevent defections from other parties he added. (NSS)
