Cong faults TRS on promises

Congress spokesman D Sravan today accused the TRS Government of offering a rule of ‘demon’ and making of mockery of democracy.

At a media conference he sought to know why only Nizamabad MP Kavitha was allotted a bullet proof car. When there are 18 MPs from the state why only Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter is feeling insecurity and needs such security he rebuked. The state has no law and order and women could not make it to roads and bazars as rape and murder of Sruthi speaks the volume, he pointed out. Sravan alleged that the ruling party is encouraging defections and luring leaders with false promises. He expressed surprise at IT minister KT Rama Rao for insulting Andhra people by stating that he will contest from Bhimavaram and announced to legalise cockfights there. Just for the sake of the elections, the TRS is violating elections norms.

Sravan also alleged that KCR miserably failed to keep the promises including transforming Hyderabad into a global city, new Secretariat, shifting of Osmania Hospital, level separators, 12 per cent of reservations for Muslim minorities, double bedroom houses for the poor and others. Promises like making old city as Istanbul, old city as Dallas, Godavari waters to Hyderabad and Metro Rail and others he said. (NSS)
