Hyderabad, December 19: Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana on Sunday stated that the PCC would appoint office-bearers to 11 District Congress Committees soon.
Talking to media persons at Ministers Quarters, Botsa Satyanarayana said that the process of appointments to district units would begin within two-three days after consulting Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday.
He said the party would also announce aspirants for by-elections to be held in the constituencies of disqualified MLAs by December 30.
He said that the wings in PCC would be revamped soon.
He said that Chief Secretary Pankaj Dwivedi and Anti Corruption Bureau Director General have been asked to submit report on raids of probing agency on liquor syndicate in the State to the government.
Based on the report submitted by the probing agency, the government would initiate action against guilty officials and Ministers, if found involved in the scam.
The PCC chief said the Congress party would file a petition with Legislative Council Chairman A Chakrapani seeking to disqualify three MLCs—Pulla Padmavathi, Konda Murali, S V Mohan Reddy for indulging in anti-party activities.
The PCC would also initiate action against MLC Jupudi Prabhakar Rao under the Anti Defection Act.
