Cong complains about Modi’s absence in Assembly

Gandhinagar, March 08: A war of words on Monday broke out between ruling BJP and opposition Congress over the absence of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi in the Assembly.

During the discussion on budgetary allocations, Leader of the Opposition, Shaktisinh Gohil commented that Modi was never seen in the House except for the question and answer session.

He said that it had been a tradition that when the Leader of the Opposition speaks, the leader of the ruling party remains present.
