Cong blindly opposing works: Harish

Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao today criticized the Congress leaders for blindly objecting to every program being launched by the government.

Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan here on Wednesday, Harish accused the congress leaders of indulging in creating obstacles to every program and project without any knowledge. He took serious exception that the Congress is aiming at coming in the way of the plans of shifting of Osmania Hospital for a new corporate building, irrigation projects and welfare schemes. He sought to know whether the Congress does not like giving corporate health services to the poor at OGH with a new hospital. They prefer the corporate hospitals and prevent the people to get such facilities, he charged. He flayed the Congress for moving court against the government proposal of constructing a Kala Bhavan at Indira Park. Despite hurdles the TRS Government will go ahead with its plans to complete irrigation projects and implement flagship programs he maintained. The people are observing the malicious efforts of the opposition parties which should desist from crying foul and creating confusion he said. (NSS)
