Cong Asks Govt to Make Public Names in Nayeem’s Diary

Congress Party demanded the state government to make  public the names mentioned in the diary of slain gangster Nayeem.

The Nayeem’s issue came up  for a discussion in Telangana Legislative Council here on Tuesday. The argument between the members of ruling and opposition parties turned as an interesting one.

Speaking  on the  Cyberabad Commissionerate Division Bill introduced by the government in the Council, Congress MLC Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy raised Nayeem encounter issue. Rajgopal Reddy also said that the division of Cyberabad Commissionerate was not scientific. The people of Nalgonda district will face troubles with the division of Cyberabad Commissionerate.

Reacting on Rajgopal Reddy’s demand, Irrigation and Legislative Affairs Minister T Harish Rao said that it was not proper for  Rajgopal Reddy to raise Nayeem issue. “Rajgopal Reddy is not a new member. He worked as an MP for five years. It is not proper for him  to link Nayeem issue with Cyberabad Commissionerate Division Bill”, he said. Harish said that the government was ready to discuss on not only Nayeem issue but all issues.

At this moment, Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy said that entire Telangana congratulated the state government in regard to Nayeem encounter. Reacting to it, opposition leader  Mohammed Ali Shabbir ridiculed the argument of the government  and asking  it to tell whether the Chief Minister fired Nayeem personally or the Chief Minister ordered for firing. Reacting on it, Nayani said that his intention was to tell the happiness expressed by the people on Nayeem encounter. (NSS)
