Describing the Assembly results of the five states today as an indicator to the things in store for Congress, YSR Congress Party today said it will emerge victorious in the next round of by-elections and in the 2014 poll battle. Party Spokesperson Jupudi Prabhakar told reporters here that the ‘arrogance’ of Congress has proved too costly for the party more than once. He said the campaign of Gandhi family yielded no results in Uttar Pradesh which strengthens our contention that YSR was responsible for the two-term victory in the State.
‘Regional parties have come to stay and YSR Congress is emerging as a force to reckon with in all the future elections’, he said adding ‘people are no longer in favour of someone sitting in New Delhi and dictating terms, what they need is local flavor and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will be the personality who will lead the party to victory in the 2014 elections’.
