Cong. alone will ensure equal rights to settlers: TPCC

TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy has said the settlers in Hyderabad would have equal rights on par with the locals.

Addressing an NSUI meeting conducted in connection with the GHMC elections at Gandhi Bhavan Prakasham Hall here on Saturday, Uttam Kumar alleged that the TRS was erecting huge flexes with the money looted from the people. He reminded the Congress regime brought the Godavari water to Hyderabad city. He called upon the people to pull up the TRS party on the assurances of reservations to the Muslims and Tribal people.

Accusing the State and Central governments of deceiving the students, TPCC Chief asserted that several engineering colleges were closed due to weakening of Fees reimbursement scheme. The TRS government became corrupt, he alleged and said the TRS leaders were spending money earned through corrupt practices in elections.

Earlier, TPCC Social Media Cell screened a few videos on TRS leaders’ double standards against settlers in Hyderabad. Congress leaders Marri Shashidhar Reddy, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, MLC Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy, former MPs Madhu Yashki Goud, Ponnam Prabhakar, former Minister G Vinod, Women Congress Chief Nerella Sharada, NSUI and Youth Congress leaders attended the meeting.
