Cong Allegation Against Medak Police—N’Khed Bypoll

Former Deputy Chief Minister Damodara Rajanarasimha has alleged that Medak Superintendent of Police Sumathi was working as a TRS activist in the ongoing Narayanakhed bye-election.
Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Rajanarasimha claimed that the police was not only filing false cases against the Congress leaders, but also distributing money through police vehicles. He urged the Election Commission to conduct the bye-election impartially.
Rajanarasimha took the responsibility of Congress party candidate’s victory in Narayanakhed election prestigiously. The Congress party fielded the deceased sitting MLA P Kista Reddy’s son, P Sanjeeva Reddy in the bye-election. The polling will be held on February 13 and counting will be held on February 16. (NSS)
