New Delhi: After contradictions over moon sighting, finally all the scholars and Ruet-e-Hilal committees have confirmed that the Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated on August 22.
National vice-president Majlis Ulama-i-Hind and Imam of Shia Jama Masjid Kashmiri Gate Maulana Syed Mohammed Ali Mohsin Naqvi also announced to lead Eid prayer on August 22. He said keeping in view of the confirmation of Ruet-e-Hilal by Shia scholars of south India and Kargil and consensus of scholars of all schools of thought, the decision has been taken that Eid ul Adha will be celebrated on August 22.
