Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today instructed that the main dais at LB Stadium for the proposed World Telugu Conference should have besides literary and music programs, Food Courts, Book Exhibition, Selling outlets, Handy Crafts sales emporium, exhibitions by the Archeological department. He wanted decorations should be done both inside and outside the LB Stadium. He also wanted the cut-outs of Telugu Literary figures put up at the LB Stadium.
The CM held a review meeting on the preparations to be made for the World Telugu Conference on Monday at Pragati Bhavan. The CM said besides organizing literary and music programs at LB Stadium, every day at Rabindra Bharathi, Rabindra Bharathi Mini Theatre, Rabindra Bharathi Preview Theatre, Telugu University, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Lalitha Kala Thoranam, Indira Priyadarshini Auditorium, LB Indoor Stadium, literary functions to be held.
The Chief Minister said Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu will be coming for the inaugural and the President for the valedictory function and both these programs should be held at the LB Stadium. The CM wanted Parking and traffic should be regulated. He also wanted one-day musical programs on the Telugu film songs. A documentary should be made reflecting the Telangana life style, attire, culture, arts and festivals. Earlier, the CM visited LB stadium and examined the preparations being made there and offered some suggestions.
