The Hyderabad High Court on Monday directed the Telangana Government to conduct the GHMC polls by December 15th and complete the division of wards and reservation exercise by October 31st.
The High Court, a few days ago, had expressed displeasure over the inordinate delay in holding polls and based on the directions of the HC, GHMC has chalked out a schedule. Based on 2011 Census, wards strength would increase to about 172 or 200 from present 150 wards.
