Standing Committee of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Oriental Research Institute, Public Garden at its meeting held on Saturday passed a resolution condoling the death of its past president, Mr. Mahmood bin Mohammed , IPS who passed away after a brief illness. In the resolution it was stated that he was the Chairman of the institute for 12 years. His services as the Ambassador of India in Saudi Arabia are appreciable. His efforts to develop the functioning of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel National Police Academy are laudable. He was a though gentleman, a poet, an author and a good speaker. His articles depict his concern for the Muslim Community. His services at H.E.H. The Nizam’s Trust were also commendable.
