Conciliation new mantra of Jagan

Hyderabad, April 08: Conciliation and not confrontation. This appears to be the course Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is taking to protect ministers loyal to him from being dropped in the Cabinet expansion and building his career in the Congress.

Probably keeping this in mind, he had a tete a tete with Chief Minister K Rosaiah last night where he made it clear that he had nothing against him and that he was willing to contribute his mite to the growth of the party under the direction of the party leaders.

He took pains to explain to him that his Odarpu tour of the State beginning April 9 had nothing to do with politics and that he was keen on interacting with family members of those who committed suicide after his father’s death in a helicopter crash in September last year.

Today also, the young MP from Kadapa, met PCC president D Srinivas and later Union Law Minister and AP Congress Affairs in charge Veerappa Moily.

Besides, he has also proposed a tour programme titled `Odarpu’ (meant to console families of the victims who died of shock or by suicide following tragic death of former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy) might be with an intention for continuation of support extended by his followers, admirers and well-wishers across the State.

At a press conference later, Moily fully supported Jagan’s tour programme by saying that there was nothing wrong in taking up such a programme.
